Sister Alberta Hall Adams was born on May 24, 1928 to the Late Leroy Kilpatrick and Julia Hall in Tallahassee, Florida. Alberta moved to Orlando, Florida as a child. After moving to Orlando she met and married the love of her life, Henry J. Adams. Alberta worked at Rio Pinar Country Club as a locker room attendant/ waitress for 39 years. She loved people she came in contact with no matter what age. She was always humbled at whatever she did. Alberta sung in the first 15th annual Alleluia concerts in the Mass Choir until her husbands’ health stared declining. She was a faithful member of Carter Tabernacle CME Church for over 70 years. She loved her church and had a strong faith and God and knew that she was covered in the “Blood of Jesus” and wrapped in his arms. Alberta always treated everyone with care and compassion which entailed a deep love for her family and friends.

Alberta leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted husband of 66 years, Henry James Adams, Orlando, FL; sister, Lillie Godwin, Bronx, NY; two grandchildren, Djuan (Deborah) Henson, Orlando, FL, Stacy (Raynard) Merriweather, Virginia Beach, VA; eight great grandchildren, Djuan (Richelle) Henson, Jr., JeQuel (Shelton) Gordon, Johnetta (Donte) Watson, all of Orlando, FL, Donald Holley, Lenard Henson, Thad Henson, Craig Smith, all of Dothan, AL, and Ralyon Bronson of Virginia Beach, VA; 11 Great great grandchildren, Amari Henson, Djuan Henson, III, Jordan Henson, of Altamonte Springs, Shamayah Gordon, Janasia Brown, Orlando, FL, Derris Jeremiah Henson, Shaelyn Henson, Alexcis Holley, Jamya Holley, Graceson Holley, and Ba’Tashja Tolbert.
